The last 4 months in Jersey!

Hello all!!

   I have not posted in a long time and have so much to tell!  We are going on our fourth month of living in NJ, and we are so happy!  Todd is loving work at Stone Harbor CC and is so glad to be back in the golf world.  I spent the end of the school year not teaching!  I loved it!  I did substitute here and there, while Aunt Judy and clan took care of Lilli, but the other days I loved being home with my Lillibear!  I also clean some houses here and there now during the summer and started selling 31 again, so I get out of the house and still get my time with Lilli.
Oh my, Lilli!!  She is now 21 months old and is such a ham!  She is so much fun and her vocabulary is crazy!  She loves repeating and imitating you!  She says so many words and phrases, I don't even know where to begin!  Her cutest is when she throws her hands in the air and says " I don't know", which we usually ask her when she hides the phone, our shoes, or the dogs are hiding from her!  She loves the beach and pool!  Mommy no longer finishes a conversation when on the beach or pool, due to Lilli being everywhere!!  She has no fear, so being on top of her is a must!  We just started music -singing classes and she has so much fun because she is a dancer like her mommy! (hush WCU roomates!)  She will also start swimming lessons in two weeks, so I think she has true jersey girl blood in her!  We also get to see many friends and family and get together with them often, so she is surrounded by many people!
Lilli and I took some trips this summer already.  First trip was to Va., where we saw my 5th graders graduate.  It was great seeing everyone and  I felt a little more closure with our decision.  Next ,Lilli, me, pa (my dad), gi-gi (my mom) flew down to NC to see Keith and meet up with mom-mom (Todd's mom) and niece and nephews at CCarolina Beach.  Lilli was a trooper she ended up getting pretty sick and we were at urgent care twice, so the visit was nice, just didn't do as much as we wanted!
So our days are filled with love, laughter, and the beach, and each day Todd and I have a huge smile on our face knowing we are home and that's where we belong.

Winter 2012

Wow! It has been awhile since I have posted. Life, facebook, and instagram have taken my pictures and I have neglected to post! Lilli is almost 17 months! She is finally sleeping in her crib all night!! She started walking around x-mas and if you ask my brother he will take all the credit for making her walk! She is very verbal, some of her favorites are: calling the dogs, asking for milk, making dog, frog, and monkey sounds, she loves saying belly button, stinky, baby, night- night, DJ ( from Yo Gabba, Gabba) and of course mommy, daddy, and hi and bye to even the cars on TV! She is so much fun! She loves her doggies and loves to give them treats! She keeps us busy and our living room looks like a tornado hit it everyday!

Our biggest news for those who don't know..... The Prohammer's are moving back to Jersey!! Todd wanted to get back to golf and we wanted to be with our family and friends! We had a great life and experience down here, but now it is time to come home! My last day of work is 3/31 and we will move that weekend, so April will be our homecoming!!

I will work harder to post more, especially now that our Va. friends say will they need Lilli pics and updates once we leave.

Happy Fall!

It's fall y'all!

Lilli is 13 months and I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. 24 hours after she turned one, she seemed to have grown and changed so much! She walks with her toy stroller, she now says "hi daddy," "doggie", answers with a yea or no, sings and sways ab,ab for her ABC song, and pretends to read when she plays with her books. She just amazes us everyday and has such a great personality. This past month she helped celebrate her friend Bolan's first bday,saw mom-mom, went to a pumpkin patch, and went on lots of nice walks since the weather is so great.

I am busy with school and Todd with work, so the little down time we have, we try to enjoy it as a family.

We are excited about November! We have a chili fest, my parents are coming, Todd has a bday, and we are planning on going to NC for Thanksgiving. The time is flying by, but we are loving every minute and can't wait to see what Lilli is going to do next.

Happy 1st bday LIlli

Dear Lilli,

As you celebrate your first birthday I hope you realize one day that you are a true miracle and a gift to us. You have made our lives so complete and have given your dad and I the real meaning of true love. This year has been so much fun watching you grow and we cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us. I would like to make a request that you sleep in your own bed all night, so when we celebrate your second birthday we can hopefully all be sleeping a full good night!

I also want to thank you for choosing us and staying strong through everything. You are a true making of your mom and dad because we never gave up on you. I just hope we can make you proud and teach you the best we can so you are proud of who you become.

Lilli 10 &11 months

Mommy is back at work for almost a month, we have been super busy, here are some pics of me. I am 18 days from turning one!!

Bye, bye summer!

As August begins and we are back from our second trip to NJ, it also means summer is over for me. I start school on the 8th with workshops and meetings and that means Lilli heads back to daycare. As i enjoy my last two full days with her I try to hold back the tears. She loves daycare, but I loved being home with her even more and seeing how her little personality is coming about. We spent a lot of time together with Todd's busy work schedule, so not being able to spend those cuddle time mornings in bed or those extra kisses and her laughs is breaking my heart. I know I will get through it and she will be just fine, but man am I going to miss her!

The rest of the month of July we spent here in Va., where we went to the pool, lake, story time, and hanging out with her new friend Grace ( my co-workers daughter). We did not get to NC liked we hoped, Todd has been busy with work and I just needed to be here organizing and enjoying my daughter, especially after the year we have had. At the end of July Lilli and I headed to NJ for 10 days! She was a great traveller and made the drive easy! Unfortunately Todd had to come up for two days because his pop-pop passed away after 90 years of life, but Lilli got to meet many new family members that travelled from Texas. This trip was very relaxing I actually got to visit with people like my college roommates, see Megan's new house, and celebrate Tucci's last single night out before her wedding. We also went to the beach and just had nice family nights with my mom and dad.

Now we are starting our hectic schedule again for the school year, going to cousin Owen's wedding next weekend, and celebrating a year of my dad's recovery. This time last year I was going to my NJ baby shower anticipating the arrival of my baby girl, praying for my dad's survival, and just wondering what the future will be like. Now my dad is doing great, and Lilli will be one in September, I am no longer guessing about the future, but living in the moment.

So enjcsoy the pictures and my next post will be for Lillian's 1st birthday!
