Well it's been awhile and we have been super busy! I ended my school year and I am very thankful to be spending my summer with my Lilli bear. Soon after school ended we headed to Jersey for our first family summer visit. While we were there Todd played a lot of golf, I had Tucci's bridal shower, Lilli was baptized, and we introduced her to summer in Jersey. She went to the boardwalk, beach, Oyster Creek, Smithville, and visited with many people. Keith came into town to surprise my dad for Father's Day and my grandmother spent the week with us, so needless to say the Sharp household was busy and more back to normal then it has been in months. We will be back at the end of July for one more visit and as a year approaches from when my dad got sick I am thankful for each new day, but also have a hard time shaking the bad memories. I watch my dad improve and even start working at the golf course again so those bad memories are slowly being erased with new memories of us as a "new" family.
Lilli is now 9 months and weighs 19.5 lbs! She is our sunshine and is so darn cute! She can clap on demand, give you kisses, and likes to make silly faces to get your reaction. She is not crawling yet, but acts like she wants to. I think when she does start moving we are in trouble! She still loves her food and is trying new things. She finally got her two bottom teeth, now all we need for her to do is sleep through the night. She now is in night, night boot camp with mommy, so please excuse the bags that are still under my eyes!
We are hoping for visitors in July and want to get to NC, but the summer is short and I will start school again August 8th. I hope you all enjoy your summer!
